greetings from NYC! i'm currently freezing my ass off in the hotel room with a little time to spare before heading out to dinner at jean georges! i hope the food is better than daniel's which was in my opinion kinda disappointing for a 3 star michelin restaurant (though the service was excellent). anyway NYC has been nothing but cold, snow, wind, and more cold. generally the temperatures are below 0 so you kinda get the drift. we've been here for the past 9 nights with 2 nights spent at niagara falls, but i don't feel like we've even done much. till now we haven't gone to the empire state building, nor have we even really gone shopping. i mean we have gone a little but its so troublesome to try stuff we end up just browsing. what is this right?!?! i know i know, touristy holidays much. 18 hours all the way up and we're tortured in the blistering cold with NOTHING TO BUY ): this is devastation at its finest. okay fine fine, i shall not be so melodramatic.

the city is gorgeous though, the buildings, apartments, streets. especially now that there's snow all around. it's true though what they say about how the city never sleeps. every corner is thronged with masses, no matter what time of the day and macy's is open 24 hours (so hopefully it wont be too cold to go there later after dinner). i do however want to come back home already. i'd much rather come back in spring/fall when the weather's more bearable. anyway, i'll update more with pictures when i get back/have the time. just thought i'd drop by! 



and even though i'm bundled up under 4 layers, somehow the heart isn't warmed up, without you by my side.

♥ Happy 11th Month, Baby (: Hearts youzz many. HAHAHA. Hope you're okay at camp (: Just to let you know that I know sometimes crazy things happen and I know you wind up worrying alot, but I will always be safe, and I'll always get myself back to you in one piece (: And also, I'll protect you with my mfing life, for all my life. I will never let any of it come to us.

This week has been a roller coaster, emotionally. It's tiring and draining, and sometimes I felt like kicking myself because I thought I was more than that. Insomnia has struck again, and I'm really starting to feel it. My decision has been a painful one; I didn't expect it to be THIS difficult to deal with.

I've realized the importance of getting a good paying job because I recently sold 3 comics and got S$450 for them, and I've realized how nice it is not having to worry about not having money HAHA. And amazingly, I haven't spent it allllllll. I think I deserve a pat on the back.

So anyway, late Monday-early Tuesday my sister came home from the States. After hanging with her and talking to her, I tried to get to sleep but for some strange reason I couldn't, which annoyed me to the point of no return. I managed two hours, and that was it. The Girl came over for us to get some work done and also hang out a little, then I accompanied to school for training. Went for dinner at the club with the family. Back to SP after to meet the Girl and wound up going to Jalan Kayu. Haha. Then, sent the Girl home, before proceeding to get terribly lost trying to send Bird and Amanda; sorryyy! Who woulda thought one wrong turn on our parts could get us that lost. Haha. BOTH Bird and I thought we could go that way, unfortunately we were terribly wrong. Hoho.

Wednesday was pretty much awesome. I started off my day badly with little sleep and the grouchiness to match. Had Bak Kut Teh at Zion with the family before meeting the Girl in town (: SOMEONE WAS LATE so I spent quite some time roaming around Borders. We hung out at town, saw a number of people ranging from classmates to cca people to other people. We got some Christmas shopping done, and also listed some ideas for some people (: We went from Wheelock to Wisma, to Taka, to Cine, to 313, to Citylink, to Marina (: Bought her some clothes (: And at Marina, I got some new tees from Topman. Haven't bought new clothes in awhile man. We had Carl's Jr for dinner, and it was just such an awesome day just talking and hanging out. It was really what I needed after all the stuff that's been going on. Thanks, Bee (:

Thursday was Sis's birthdayyy :D We didn't do much really. Tiong Bahru porridge for brunch, then she had some stuff to do so I just lay around trying to catch up on sleep to no avail. Dinner at Shangri-La (3 birthdays in a row man; mine, Baby's then Sis's), but this time we went to Nadaman :D Hee. Fatso. Anytheway, came home to cut cake and my Sis was super tired so she went to bed while I went to fetch the Girl from training (: Instead of taking her to Macs to buy dinner, I took her to get fish horfun from Holland Drive; plus Frolick! :D The lychee flavor is good, people should try it!

Today I went over to her place in the morning. It was SUPER crowded and what I learnt is that BIG CROWDS + WOUNDS = Disaster. I didn't even know I was bleeding so badly till I felt the drop of blood land on my hand. It was damn scary. So anyway, I very rudely woke her up, like I always do when I go over in the morning HAHA. She started packing for camp, while I cooked brunch; scrambled eggs, honeycoated sausages, popcorn chicken and (FAIL)fries. Haha (: I was a lazy slob after and just lay on her couch watching WallE on Disney channel while she packed, 'cos we all know I'm lousy at packing and I only get in the way. Haha. Cabbed to school and I went to boulder on the SAA wall for like 3hours. I managed two lap-lengths HEEHEE. But I am so sore, I swear. Made my way to Changi Airport after to send Xinyi off. Haha. I'm hopeless, I tell you; haven't seen her in a year and still managed to get half my face pinched off by her. Talked to Anas, Derrick and Yingxuan; all the people I haven't seen since like forever. Derrick, especially. He is still hilarious, "Eh, you watch AHVARTAH already??" HAHA. So cute, please. Went to pick up the Gf's phone from Tampines after then came home.

My Girlfriend's at camp but I am so grateful that she called me just now because I really needed to talk to her and hear her voice. She sounded super worried when she called. I am an emotional wreck; honest to God. I feel like blowing my brain open. And I wish that I'd lose my capacity for feeling. Thanks also to SARAH, for keeping me calm, and I'm sorry for the sad butterflies in your tummy ):

I have to say that this holiday is SO eventful! I mean, judging by the FIRST day of holiday already... You know what I did? I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL FOR PROJECT MEETING. HAHAHA. But yeah, it was productive (: Then I had KFC for lunch, hee. My girl didn't eat because she was meeting her friends for lunch. Anyway, Jas and Ethan were there too so we ate together (:

Today, the girl made me wonder why buffet's pronounced the way it is. So I'm throwing a tantrum and I'm just gonna tell you that she went for dimsum boofay for lunch. HAHA. I think I'm retarded. I also went to the bank and made a right fool of myself (Q shall stand for the dude who was giving me my queue number):

Q: What are you here for?
Me: I'm here to activate my debit card.
Q: Weren't you given an activation number?
Me: It didn't work.
Q: Did you call the hotline?
Me: Yeah, they told me the number's invalid now and to go to the bank where I got my account.
Q: When did you get the card and activation number?
Me: One and a half years ago? *insert sheepish grin*
Q: ....

It was quite funny. And so today I found out that my procrastination has rendered my debit card completely useless and so I now have to cut it up, when I haven't even used it once 'cos apparently my card does not exist HAHA. But the upside is that I'm getting a newwww platinum debit card. Heeheehoho. Procrastination, ftw.

So even though it sounds quite funny, today isn't all that great a day for me. I had a terrible night, couldn't sleep. Wound up having to watch whiney stick thin bimbos yelling at each other in model prep school. It was disturbingly hilarious at that hour. Haha. But anyway, that aside, and all the funny things that happened aside. Today wasn't great.

Today, I came to a decision that I've been trying to make for awhile. It wasn't easy. But I've gotta thank the people involved for sticking by me.

Today, I also bathed my dog, and I think her health's deteriorating. And I feel horrible because I'm a lousy owner. Sigh.

feeling like it was 9am and i hadn't had enough sleep.

going down to check out what and where the articles had been published.
the first week of work is over. 23 more weeks to go.

who cares that i'm spending way over the maximum 44hours at work.
it can only get better right?

drinks on friday with the bizjourn gang was fun. i'm really glad that i missed out on the sleazy gossip and statements made. i wouldn't have been able to not show my 'cringe' face.
and, planet 51 wasn't as awesome as i thought it would be.
it was nice to have a traffic free drive down orchard to look at the christmas light-up.

but seriously, singapore needs better 24hours eateries to hangout at.

I cut my hair again, yesterday with my girlfriend (: My head is tiny, hoho. But it's okay.
We had a simple day, yesterday.

- haircuts
- frolick
- nachos, chicken and ribs at chili's
- shopping around at Zara and Far East
- new belt and cologne that you like too (:
- sent you home (:
- and all the playful arguing about what song to play in the car

We're awesome, even in the simplest of matters and life (:

And now, I'm off to the gym 'cos I'm too chubby at the middle and too flabby on the sides, HAHA.
